译文
百年岁月浑浑然好似醉酒，可是心怀仍一片阳春，高高仰卧东山像那悠悠白云。可恨那人间是非像扑面的飞 尘，消磨掉古今多少有志人。
注释
百年：一生。
浑：全，都。
高卧东山：用东晋谢安（安石）不仕隐居东山典故。后遂用以比喻隐居或隐居行径。东山，在浙江上虞县 西南。
嗔：恼怒，怪怨。

此曲写作者远离是非的隐逸生活.。
“百年浑似醉，满怀都是春。”分别浓缩宋苏轼《满庭芳》词“百年里，浑教是醉，三万六千场”和宋陈郁《未庵为吴应祥愉赋》“生意满怀都是春”句意。表达了是非颠倒，贤愚不分的社会里，只有整个人生都保持醉态，才能免受气愤烦恼的干扰，醉醺醺地浑身觉得充满春意融融的温暖。虽忘却尘世，却也抒发了隐居者对人间沧桑的感叹。
“高卧东山一片云。”作者说要像东晋谢安那样高卧东山，如一片白云那样自由自在，无牵无挂地悠闲。表现了隐者的陶然自得、忘却尘世。（谢安在出仕之前曾经隐居会稽东山，朝廷屡征不起，事见《世说新语·排调》及《晋书》本传。）
“嗔，是非拂面尘，消磨尽，古今无限人。”笔锋突转，以下三句都写愤怒生气的事：隐居就为躲避是非，可是是非之风仍然拂面而来给作者满脸抹上尘垢，让作者蒙受许多污蔑或屈辱，这种烦恼的纠缠，不知消磨尽古今多少人的身心健康。作者难言的切身之感自然也隐含其中。
本首曲表现了闲适散逸的情趣，同时吸收了诗词的声律，句法及辞藻到散曲中，形成一种清丽而不失自然的风格。末三句坦白直率地道出自己对古今世事沧桑的彻悟，大有看破红尘之意味，但在语气上，作者却将这样一种深沉的感悟以松脱、不屑的方式表现出来。虽题为“乐闲”，但让人感觉到一种深沉的人生悲欢。作者正是乐得悠闲，乐得百年如醉，但这种人为的“醉”因，正是因为痛苦太多，不堪承受，不得不消极回避的结果.因此作者也冷静的看到，官场上扑面而来的是非尘土，消磨了无数士人的激情和斗志，使他们先先后后走出来，高卧东山去。

张可久（约1270～1348以后）字小山（一说名伯远，字可久，号小山）（《尧山堂外纪》）；一说名张可久肖像（林晋生作）可久，字伯远，号小山（《词综》）；又一说字仲远，号小山（《四库全书总目提要》），庆元（治所在今浙江宁波鄞县）人，元朝重要散曲家，剧作家，与乔吉并称“双壁”，与张养浩合为“二张”。
